Avi Cohen

Avi Cohen is currently a board member at Nova, and has previously held positions at XJet Ltd., Fintica AI, CGS Tower Networks, Cortica, and the Israel Consumer Council.

Cohen has been with Nova since July of 2020. Prior to that, they were the Chairman at Fintica AI from February 2021 to July 2022. FINTICA AI is an Israeli Fintech company that is bringing next generation Autonomous AI to the Global Financial Industry. The firm develops unique cross-asset class investment decision support tools, AI feeds and deep analytics for Investments Managers, Exchanges & Regulators and Global Data Vendors. By deploying autonomous artificial intelligence, FINTICA improves data anomaly detection and enhances predictive analytics for financial market infrastructure and compliance functions.

Cohen was also a member of the Board of Directors at the Israel Consumer Council from August 2018 until August 2021, where they also served as Chairman from July 2019 to October 2020. The Israel Consumer Council is the largest consumer organization in Israel. A statutory, non-profit corporation which works to defend consumers and protect their rights, by handling complaints, seeking solutions to wrongs done to consumers, and through education, enforcement, and promotion of consumer rights.

Avi Cohen attended the AEA Executive MBA Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where they studied business administration and management. Avi also holds a BS EEAP and MS EEAP from Case Western Reserve University in electrical engineering and applied physics.
