Rui Guerra

Rui Guerra serves as General Manager at NOVO BANCO since January 2015, holding additional titles including Diretora General Indigitado Spain and Advisor to the CEO, while overseeing global coordination of the Executive Committee of Banco BEST. Prior experience includes leadership roles such as Director Geral of the International Division at Banco Internacional Cabo Verde and Chief Executive Officer at Banco Espirito Santo Angola. Rui Guerra has also held non-executive board positions at various financial institutions including BES Venetie, Novo Banco Asia, and Moza Banco. With over two decades in the banking sector, previous roles include Advisor to the Board at Banco Espírito Santo S.A. and Managing Director at Deutsche Bank, Portugal. Rui Guerra earned a Degree in Business Administration from ISCTE Business School.
