Hoangmai Pham

Scientific Advisor at Novocardia

Hoangmai Pham is the Scientific Advisor at Novocardia and the Founder and President of the Institute for Exceptional Care. Hoangmai is also an Independent Consultant and the Vice President, Provider Alignment Solutions at Anthem, Inc.

Pham has dedicated their career to health care transformation and helping people with neurodevelopmental disabilities and their families thrive. Hoangmai has over 20 years of experience in the field, including 8 years as a Senior Health Researcher at the Center for Studying Health System Change. In this role, they were responsible for researching and evaluating health policy issues related to access, quality, cost, and delivery system reforms.

Pham has also held positions at the Innovation Center at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), where they served as the Chief Innovation Officer and Director of the Seamless Care Models Group. In these roles, they were responsible for leading CMS' innovation strategy and initiatives, as well as developing and testing new models of care delivery.

Most recently, Pham served as the Senior Advisor at the Innovation Center at CMS. In this role, they provided strategic advice and guidance on health care innovation initiatives.

Pham's work has been instrumental in helping to improve the quality of health care for people with neurodevelopmental disabilities and their families. Hoangmai is a passionate advocate for health care transformation and is committed to helping people with neurodevelopmental disabilities thrive.

Hoangmai Pham has a Doctor of Medicine from Temple University School of Medicine, a Master’s from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a post-doctoral fellowship from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Hoangmai also has a degree from Harvard University in Biochemistry.
