Willa Rubin is a reporter at Der Tagesspiegel in Berlin, currently serving as part of the Burns Fellowship through the International Center For Journalists since August 2024. Previously, Willa was an Associate Producer at NPR’s Planet Money from February 2022, and a founding producer for The Journal at Gimlet Media and the Wall Street Journal from June 2019 to February 2022, contributing to award-winning projects such as the "WeWork Trilogy." Willa's experience also includes roles as a News Assistant at NPR’s The Indicator and as a Reporting Intern at Dow Jones, alongside tutoring students with disabilities from August 2016 to July 2019. Willa holds a Master's degree in Journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY and a Bachelor's degree in Politics with minors in French and Creative Writing from Oberlin College, having also attended Sciences Po.
