Mitch Marinus

Mitch Marinus has extensive experience in sports journalism, currently serving as a Sportredacteur and Sport- en videoredacteur at NU.nl since September 2020, where responsibilities include writing news articles and covering significant sporting events in live blogs, as well as producing news videos on various topics. Prior to this role, Mitch worked as a Redacteur at Het Amsterdamsche Voetbal from September 2019 to May 2022, conducting interviews with key figures in Amsterdam's football scene. Mitch also completed a graduation assignment at De Gelderlander in early 2021, and served as a Jong Ajax-watcher for Ajax1 Communications from August 2018 to March 2020, where the focus was on tracking Jong Ajax in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie. Additional experience includes freelance video editing for NU.nl and previous work in food service. Mitch holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and a minor in Sport- en prestatiepsychologie from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
