Jordan Houghton

Jordan Houghton is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Director of Media Relations at the Nuclear Energy Institute since October 2022. Prior to this role, Jordan held the position of Senior Media Relations Manager at the same organization. Jordan has extensive experience in public relations and communications, having worked as the Southeast Regional Public Relations Director at Gensler and held the Director of Education and Outreach position at the National Atomic Testing Museum. Additional roles include Principal at Mostly Harmless Communications, Director of Corporate Communications at Allegiant, NV-1 DMAT PIO at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and Marketing Director at Nevada Pops. Earlier in the career, Jordan was an Associate and Communications Manager at Gensler, a Press Advance Intern at The White House, and a Media Relations Intern at the Federal Communications Commission. Jordan earned a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Columbia College Chicago.
