Matthew Renna

Matthew Renna currently serves as the Head of Hardware Engineering at Nuro, an autonomous vehicle company focused on enhancing everyday life through robotics. Prior to Nuro, Matthew served as Vice President of E-Mobility and Innovation at Volkswagen of America, where significant achievements included launching the first electric platform, ID4, in the North American market. Matthew's experience also includes a role at Tesla as a Vehicle Program Manager, overseeing the successful Model S and X platforms. Earlier in their career, Matthew worked at Honda Performance Development, contributing to high-profile racing successes, and at Porsche Motorsport North America, supporting engine assembly for racing teams. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical and Materials Engineering from UC Irvine.
