Koen Laagland

Koen Laagland currently serves as General Counsel and Company Secretary at Nutreco N.V., a position held since January 2012, where responsibilities include providing legal counsel for salmon feed globally and overseeing the regions of South America and Asia, as well as supporting various corporate governance activities. Prior roles at Nutreco include Senior Legal Counsel, managing the worldwide animal nutrition division, and successfully completing M&A projects in Brazil, Hungary, and Ukraine. Previously, experience includes positions as Lead Counsel for DSM Engineering Plastics and Legal Counsel for DSM Biologics at Koninklijke DSM N.V., and as a Legal/Process Consultant at Eiffel. Educational qualifications encompass an Advanced Management Programme from HEC Paris, an LLM in Law & Economics from Stockholm University, and dual LLM/MSc degrees in Law and Psychology from Leiden University.
