Todd Coakwell

Todd Coakwell, CPA, CMA, is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in corporate planning, sustainability, and investor relations. Currently serving as Senior Director of Sustainability and ESG Disclosure at Nutrien since January 2005, Todd directs the company's environmental, social, and governance strategy while leading climate strategy development. Previously, Todd held the position of Director of Investor Relations at Nutrien, focusing on shareholder communication and transparency regarding organizational strategies and growth plans. Todd's career includes significant roles at TransAlta, Renaissance Energy, Norcen Energy, SPM Manufacturing, and Collins Barrow, where experiences range from financial analysis and corporate reporting to management of month-end closing processes. Todd holds a BComm in Accounting from the University of Calgary and is a member of CPA Canada.
