Shilp Shah

Shilp Shah is an experienced professional in the real estate and asset management sectors, currently serving as Director of Asset Management and Director of Portfolio Management at Nuveen, a TIAA company, since September 2013. Previously, Shilp held the position of Assistant Portfolio Manager at TIAA’s Real Estate Account, overseeing the southeast region. Earlier experience includes roles as Management Consultant at Hipercept and Transaction and Asset Manager for Cohen Commercial Properties, managing over 2 million square feet of retail space. Shilp began a career in commercial real estate as a broker at SVN® International Corp. Shilp holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Finance and Investments from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
