Jessica Bright

Jessica Bright serves as the Director at Nuvig Therapeutics Inc. since October 2023. Prior to this role, Jessica held the position of Principal Scientist at BridgeBio from December 2022 to October 2023, where the focus was on developing treatments for rare genetic diseases, specifically Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease and Tuberous Sclerosis Complex. Jessica's extensive experience includes various leadership roles at ESCAPE Bio between October 2015 and September 2022, including Associate Director of Cell Biology, Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Scientist. Earlier career positions include Associate Scientist at Allakos, Associate Scientist at True North Therapeutics, and Associate Scientist at iPierian, as well as Senior Research Associate and Research Associate roles at Nuvelo. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a Bachelor of Science in Genetics, both obtained from the University of California, Davis, from 1994 to 1999.
