Alex Retzker

Alex Retzker has made fundamental contributions in the field of quantum technologies, mostly for quantum computing, quantum sensing and quantum simulations. He is working on theory proposals for realization of quantum technological goals with emphasis on the platforms of trapped ions and NV centres in diamond. He is currently leading the quantum technology theory group at the Racah Institute of Physics at the Hebrew University. For his contributions he was awarded the Krill prize in 2015 and he is currently holding an ERC consolidator grant on quantum sensing with NV centres in diamond
