Marja Dijksterhuis

Marja Dijksterhuis, PhD, is an experienced professional in research administration and quality management. Currently serving as Team Leader Process & Quality in the Financial Department at the Dutch Research Council NWO since January 2017, Marja also holds roles as Project Leader Vesalius and Secretary to the Board for the NWO Domain Applied and Engineering Sciences. Prior to NWO, Marja worked with the Technology Foundation STW from September 2003 to January 2017 in various capacities, including Primary Processes and Policy Coordinator and Program Director for Life Sciences & Technology. Marja's academic background includes postdoctoral work at Utrecht University and Memorial University of Newfoundland, and a PhD in Biology/Biochemistry from Utrecht University.
