Remco Fijneman

Remco Fijneman is a Senior Programme Coordinator at NWO (Nederlandse Organisatie voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek) since April 2021, managing funding instruments and a project portfolio in chemical engineering and advanced imaging technologies within the Domain of Applied and Engineering Sciences. Previously, Fijneman served as a Programme Coordinator at Eindhoven University of Technology from September 2016 to November 2020 and as a PhD Researcher in the EU Horizon 2020 Innovative Training Network 'MULTIMAT,' focusing on the structural design of porous silica-based materials. Additionally, Fijneman's industry experience includes a PhD research collaboration with Nouryon and research internships at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and Harvard. Fijneman holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, complemented by two Master of Science degrees and a Bachelor of Science degree from the same institution.
