Robert Healey

Robert Healey is a seasoned scientist currently serving as Lead Scientist at Nxera Pharma since September 2021, leading teams and projects in pharmaceutical research. Prior to this, Robert worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at IGF, University of Montpellier, CNRS, and INSERM, focusing on the structural and functional characterization of integral membrane proteins related to sphingolipid metabolism while managing multiple projects and supervising a team of four research assistants. Robert also completed a PhD in Chemistry and Chemical Biology at UNSW, where research centered on the activation mechanisms of GPCRs, coupled with roles as a Laboratory Demonstrator and Analytical Chemist. Robert's research experience is further complemented by an exchange position at Kyoto Institute of Technology, where silica monoliths were synthesized. Robert earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Canberra.
