Kyle Patterson

Kyle Patterson has extensive experience in engineering and technology infrastructure, particularly within the semiconductor industry, currently serving as Chief of Staff for Microcontroller and Microprocessor Engineering at NXP Semiconductors since December 2015. In this role, Kyle leads initiatives focused on enterprise data management and digital transformation. Previous positions at NXP include Senior Director of Technology Infrastructure, where responsibilities encompassed EDA software contract management, creation of Process Design Kits (PDKs), and oversight of tapeout operations. Earlier, Kyle contributed to Freescale Semiconductor in various managerial roles related to PDKs, infrastructure, and analytics. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. in Chemistry from Texas Christian University. Additionally, Kyle held leadership positions within the Town and Country Optimist Club from March 2016 to April 2022.
