Hans Owuor

Hans Owuor is a dedicated medical professional currently serving as a Researcher in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at NYU Langone Health, a position held since August 2022. Owuor also fulfills the role of Region IX Treasurer for the Student National Medical Association and is a Research Scholar at New York Medical College. In addition to these roles, Owuor has been an Emergency Medical Technician with Ramsey Ambulance Corps since 2018 and previously served as the Assistant Surgeon General for Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Owuor's experience includes a student internship at Kayal Orthopaedic Center and leadership positions within the CCNY Undergraduate Student Government as both Vice President of Academic Affairs and Senator. Owuor holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from CUNY School of Medicine, with anticipated completion in May 2026, and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from The City College of New York, earned in 2022. Owuor graduated high school from Eastern Christian School in 2019.
