Leland Deane

Leland Deane, MD, MBA, FACS, currently serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at NYU Long Island School of Medicine and as Associate Division Chief of Plastic Surgery at Northwell Health's Southside Hospital. With a substantial career spanning from 1986 to the present, notable positions include Senior Partner at Long Island Plastic Surgical Group, PC, where Leland has been integral since its founding in 1948, and previous roles such as Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery at North Shore/LIJ Healthcare System. Leland also contributed as a Board Member for the New York State Department of Health's Office of Professional Conduct and served as a Senior Analyst at Opico Capital PTY LTD. Educational accomplishments include an MBA with a concentration in finance from NYU Stern School of Business, an MD from the State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University, and a cum laude BS in Biology from Union College.
