Tsering D. Sherpa

Tsering D. Sherpa, MS, is a Clinical Laboratory Technologist and Microbiologist currently employed at NYU Langone Health since January 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist at NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn and CooperCompanies, as well as a Lead Microbiologist at Westchester Medical Center. Tsering has contributed to the validation of Cepheid instruments for STAT COVID and Strep A tests and has significant experience in setting up various cultures and running STAT tests. Tsering also mentored at Futures and Options and worked as a Clinical Research Assistant at NomoCan Pharmaceuticals. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from New York Medical College and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Hunter College.
