Annette 'Nina' Gray currently serves as the Assistant Vice Provost for Research Planning and Analysis at New York University, a position held since February 2022, where responsibilities include shaping the vision for NYU’s research enterprise across multiple campuses and identifying new research opportunities. Gray also holds board membership at the New York Structural Biology Center and is a Women inPower Fellow at 92Y. Previous roles include Associate Dean for the Sciences and Executive Director of the ASRC at the Graduate Center, City University of New York, where leadership encompassed an advanced research center promoting interdisciplinary collaboration. Prior experience includes senior positions at NYU Langone Health, focusing on neuroscience research and education, and earlier roles in program management and research at institutions such as the New York Academy of Sciences, Brown University, and MIT. Gray earned a PhD in Neuroscience from Brown University and an SB in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
