Evan Korn

Evan Korn is an experienced professional in event planning and management, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at New York University since December 2019. As the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner of IDEKO, established in January 2014, Evan Korn leads a team specializing in designing, building, and permitting large-scale live events. Additionally, from September 2020 to April 2024, Evan served as Chief Executive Officer of NYFF Events, a prominent resource for various events in New York. Previous roles include Chief Business Development Executive at IBM Corporation, Executive Director of the Office of Citywide Event Coordination and Management in the NYC Office of the Mayor, and other significant positions within the NYC government. Evan Korn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Old Westbury and completed an Executive Seminar in Transportation at the NYU Rudin Center.
