Cody Small

Cody Small is an experienced Production Technologist with over two decades in the oil and gas industry. Since June 2017, Cody has been contributing to Obsidian Energy Ltd., following a decade-long tenure at Penn West from January 2008 to June 2017. Prior roles include a position as Production Technologist at Canetic Resources Inc. (2006-2008) and at Acclaim Energy Trust as a Production Technologist/Field Operator (2004-2006). Earlier experience includes roles as a Field and Battery Operator at Husky Energy (2001-2004) and Renaissance Energy (1999-2001). Cody holds a Diploma in Petroleum Engineering Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, earned between 1997 and 1999.
