Steve Smith, CPA, has extensive experience in financial systems management, with a focus on SAP and Oracle applications. Currently serving as an Oracle EBS System Administrator at Occidental since January 2019, Steve previously held several key roles at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation from September 2006 to January 2019, including Manager of SAP Accounting and Finance Systems and Project Manager for various significant SAP projects. Notable projects include the New G/L Project, SAP Security Project, and Legal Entity Consolidation. Earlier in their career, Steve was a Senior Oracle EBS Application Administrator at Western Gas Resources, contributing to application configuration and troubleshooting. With 25 years in midstream accounting and a degree in Business with a focus on Accounting from the University of Colorado Denver, Steve possesses a robust skill set in financial systems and project leadership.
