Eric Rice

Eric Rice is a seasoned professional in philanthropy and fundraising, currently serving as a Planned Giving Officer at Ocean Conservancy since September 2022. Prior experience includes roles such as Major Gifts/Foundations Officer and Planned Giving Specialist at ICM, where responsibilities encompassed major gift cultivation and foundation grant writing. Previous positions held include Donor Advocate at WorldHelp, Director of Development & Planned Gifts at Africa New Life, and Director of Development at Open Arms International, where significant major gifts were generated through effective donor engagement and stewardship. Eric also has entrepreneurial experience as the Founder/President of Backcast Outfitters, LLC, and served as Vice President of Advancement at Multnomah University, overseeing substantial fundraising initiatives.
