Elif Demir-Hilton, PhD, is an experienced ocean sciences consultant currently working with Oceankind since May 2018, focusing on enhancing ocean ecosystem health and supporting dependent communities. Additionally, Elif has been a consultant for Ocean Science and Technology since September 2015 and was a member and coordinator for the F3 Team, which aims to promote alternative aquaculture feed solutions from August 2016 to December 2018. Prior roles include research specialist and associate at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute, and various academic positions, including graduate research and teaching assistantships at the University of Delaware and Old Dominion University. Elif earned a PhD in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from the University of Delaware and holds a Master of Science in Biological Oceanography from Old Dominion University.
