Shabana Mansoory

Shabana Mansoory currently serves as a Settlement Counsellor at the Ottawa Community Immigrant Services Organization (OCISO) since December 2023, focusing on facilitating immigrant and refugee integration and promoting community awareness of their needs. Shabana is also a Senior Member of the Afghanistan Chapter for WOMEN IN TECH® since December 2022. Previous roles include Programme Specialist and Programme Consultant at UN Women, Technical Specialist for Gender Equality at Global Affairs Canada, Director of Business Development and Skills Development & Coaching Manager at Afghanistan Center for Excellence (ACE), and Program Specialist at Chemonics International on a major gender equality project. Shabana has further experience as a Program Officer with Mercy Corps and has held leadership positions with AIESEC. Educational qualifications include ongoing studies at Algonquin College International Education Centre and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Kabul University.
