Jakob Herrmann

Jakob Herrmann is an experienced Data Scientist currently working at Octopus Energy in the Risk Management division since November 2022. Previously, Jakob held various data science roles at Allianz Digital Health GmbH from June 2020 to November 2022 and abracar GmbH from July 2018 to May 2020, also serving as a Werkstudent - Data Scientist at abracar GmbH from May 2017 to March 2018. Earlier in Jakob's career, an internship and student position were completed at PwC Deutschland from September 2014 to June 2016. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Mathematical Finance and Actuarial Science from the Technical University of Munich (2015-2018) and a Bachelor's degree in Wirtschaftsmathematik from the University of Augsburg (2011-2015), alongside educational experience at the University of Amsterdam (2016-2017).
