James O'Regan

James O'Regan is a seasoned Senior Electrician and Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) with extensive experience in offshore drilling and maritime environments. Currently serving at Odfjell Drilling since March 2023, James is involved with an ultra-deepwater semi-submersible vessel. Prior roles include Chief Electrician/ETO at Global Offshore Engineering, overseeing teams in Turkey, and Senior Electrician positions with Ensco plc and Seadrill Careers, where leadership responsibilities encompassed expat and national electricians across various global locations. James's career also includes significant experience with Diamond Offshore and Willacy Oil Services, dealing with electrical systems and equipment in diverse and challenging environments. A graduate of several technical educational institutions, James holds an STCW III/6 ETO Certificate of Competency from Blackpool and The Fylde College.
