Shane Sykes

Shane Sykes is an experienced Deck Foreman at Odfjell Drilling since March 2019, responsible for supervising the storage and maintenance of rig equipment while ensuring adherence to Group Operating procedures and Safety Policy. Previously, Shane worked as a Roustabout at Odfjell Drilling and various roles in offshore operations, accumulating significant experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to this, Shane was a self-employed builder and bricklayer for over 18 years, possessing expertise in site safety, productivity, and risk assessments from tenure with multiple construction firms. Shane began a career in construction as an apprentice, obtaining an NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying at AP Weatherill Builder.
