Tyler Parchem

Tyler Parchem is a Deputy Public Defender currently working at the Colorado State Public Defender since August 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Student Attorney at the University of Colorado Law School Criminal Defense Clinic and various other legal clinics, where representation focused on low-income clients in criminal cases, housing disputes, and wage theft claims. Prior to law school, Tyler served as a Board Member for the Spokane Regional Justice Task Force, contributing to community criminal legal system initiatives, and as the Public Affairs and Public Policy Coordinator for Greater Spokane Incorporated, enhancing public policy strategies. Tyler holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with Criminal Justice and Criminology from Washington State University.
