Ozgur Akkaya

Ozgur Akkaya is a Senior Economist at Ofgem since December 2024, previously serving as a Senior Associate Economist and Graduate Associate Economist at Ofwat from September 2021 to December 2024. Early career experience includes a role as a Student Advisor at qNomics QMUL from October 2020 to April 2021 and a position as a Student Consultant for the QConsult Programme at Queen Mary University of London in June 2020. Ozgur contributed to a consultancy project focused on business strategy for the money management app HyperJar. Educationally, Ozgur earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Queen Mary University of London, completing studies from 2018 to 2021.
