Penny Martin

Penny Martin currently serves as the Director of Public Affairs at the Ohio Housing Finance Agency since December 2021. Prior to this role, Penny held the position of Chief of Strategy and Public Affairs at the Ohio Department of Development, overseeing communication strategies and managing a team of 12 communications professionals. Penny has extensive experience in public information and communications, having worked as a Public Information Officer for both Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and the Ohio Department of Development, where responsibilities included media strategy, public relations, and internal messaging. Early career roles included marketing and project management in various organizations, culminating in a solid foundation in political campaign coordination and fundraising efforts. Penny holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from DePauw University.
