Imke Schulte

Imke Schulte is an accomplished professional in communication, marketing, and institutional engagement, currently serving as Head of Institutional Engagement at Oikocredit Deutschland since September 2024. Previously, Schulte held various leadership roles at Oikocredit from 2016 to 2024, including Geschäftsleitung Oikocredit Deutschland and Leitung Kommunikation und Marketing. Between 2013 and 2016, Schulte was a doctoral candidate at Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main. Earlier experience includes leading communication, PR, and marketing at Corazones para Peru, serving as Senior Account Manager at HBS International GmbH, and freelance journalism at Frankfurter Rundschau. Schulte also worked as a project manager for DED (Deutscher Entwicklungsdienst) and pursued professional training at Grameen Bank in 2009.
