David Elkouss

David Elkouss is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in the fields of computer science and quantum technologies. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University since March 2022, Elkouss previously held positions as Group Leader at QuTech and Assistant Professor at Delft University of Technology. Elkouss's research includes applying classical error correcting codes to quantum key distribution protocols, with a solid academic foundation consisting of a Ph.D. from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Master's degree in International Business Administration. Additionally, Elkouss has a diverse professional background that includes roles as a postdoctoral researcher and co-founder of a technology startup, alongside experience as an R&D engineer and junior software engineer in various industries.
