Melissa McFarlin

Melissa McFarlin is an experienced designer and creative director with a diverse background in events, advertising, and digital marketing. Currently serving as a Designer for Events and Experiences at Okta since August 2023, Melissa also leads McFarlin Creative, a freelance venture established in 2008, where comprehensive visual solutions are provided across various mediums. Previously, Melissa held positions such as Creative Director at Beautiful.ai and Chopra Global, and Design Director at Velodyne Lidar, Inc., where significant contributions were made towards integrated marketing campaigns, user interface design, and impactful social media strategies. A strong foundation in graphic design was established through a Bachelor’s Degree from Arizona State University, complemented by a distinguished tenure as Senior Art Director at The Lavidge Company, where numerous awards, including over 20 Addy awards and an Emmy, were received.
