Simon Bowers

Simon Bowers is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Chief of Staff for the Senior Vice President of Business Technology at Okta since September 2024. Prior to this role, Bowers held various leadership positions at Atlassian from August 2017 to September 2024, including Director of Communications for IT & Customer One and Senior Communications Manager for both IT & Customer One and Technology. Earlier career experiences include managing corporate communications for Hewlett Packard Enterprise, serving as a board member for Manna Project International, and working as a Senior Account Supervisor at Cone Communications. Bowers began their career as an Account Executive and also has a background as a Wildland Firefighter. Bowers holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from Washington State University.
