Nishan Khatri

Nishan Khatri is an accomplished professional in the field of computer science, currently serving as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Old Dominion University since January 2025, working on a NIH-funded research project that applies AI and machine learning to healthcare challenges. Previous experience includes positions as a Data Scientist at Sentinel Fertigation, where innovative geospatial data processing techniques and machine learning model integration led to notable contributions, including a patent application. Nishan has also held multiple research assistant roles focused on deep learning projects at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, supplemented by machine learning engineering experience at Fusemachines and Docsumo.
