Emily Getzschman McArdle

Emily Getzschman McArdle is a seasoned communications professional with a diverse background in employee communications, marketing, and public relations. Currently serving as an Employee Communications Business Partner at Omaha Public Power District since August 2023, Emily has also contributed significantly to the University of Nebraska Medical Center as a Standardized Patient since August 2010. Prior experience includes a lengthy tenure as Marketing Manager at Omaha Public Library, where strategic communications, community engagement, and supervision of marketing staff were pivotal responsibilities. Emily's earlier roles at various American Red Cross chapters involved directing communications and government relations across multiple counties in Texas. With a solid academic foundation, including a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Emily’s expertise encompasses content creation, media relations, and community outreach.
