Saoussen Ben Halima

Saoussen Ben Halima, PhD, is a Senior Associate at Omega Funds since September 2022 and has been an Associate at Roche Venture Fund since November 2020. Prior experience includes an Associate position at Medicxi from March 2018 to October 2020 and a Postdoctoral Research Scientist role at the University of Zurich from August 2014 to February 2018, where Saoussen contributed to Alzheimer’s disease research, including the development of a β-secretase APP-specific inhibitor. Earlier academic background includes a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Zurich and a Master's degree from École normale supérieure de Lyon, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from McGill University.
