Bastian Baumgart

Bastian Baumgart is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as FAE Manager Europe at OMNIVISION since March 2024. Previously, Bastian held the position of Head of Hardware at FERNRIDE, a leader in autonomous electric trucking, from June 2022 to April 2024, and served in multiple roles at Argo AI, including Lead of Camera Advanced Development and Senior Camera Engineer from June 2020 to July 2022. Bastian's earlier experience includes being a Camera Expert at Autonomous Intelligent Driving GmbH and a Camera Design Engineer at Continental, as well as an Ingenieur für Optoelektronik at Philips. Bastian holds a Master of Engineering in Lasertechnik und Optik from Fachhochschule Jena and a Bachelor of Science in Physikalische Wissenschaften from FH Münster.
