Bo Mu

Bo Mu is an accomplished professional in the field of imaging and algorithm development, currently serving as the Director of Algorithm Development at OmniVision Technologies, Inc. since May 2019. Prior experience includes a role as Manager of Sensor Integration at Quanergy, where expertise in 3D Lidar Sensor integration and point cloud processing was developed. From October 2011 to October 2017, Bo Mu worked as a Sr. Principal Engineer at Fairchild Imaging, focusing on CMOS sensor imaging and image quality. Earlier experience at KLA-Tencor involved senior engineering responsibilities in nano-scale high-resolution imaging systems and image processing. Bo Mu's career began with an internship at Micron Technology, working on CMOS camera pipeline simulation and optimization. Bo Mu holds a Ph.D. in Imaging Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology, achieved between 2002 and 2007.
