Merijn Kramer

Merijn Kramer is an accomplished journalist and editor with substantial experience in various media roles. Currently serving as a journalist and editor at Omroep West since May 2021, Merijn has also worked as a reporter and editor for Delft e.o. for both Omroep West and NOS. Previous positions include serving as an editor and journalist at F1Maximaal with Valkering Media B.V., freelance social media editor at NOS, and an editorial intern at Haarlems Dagblad with Mediahuis Nederland. Merijn gained valuable experience as a student consultant with UniPartners Leiden, focusing on launching a hyperlocal news medium. Additional roles in journalism include editing at 3voor12/Leiden and 3voor12amsterdam, along with a stage at VPRO's Argos program. Merijn's foundational education includes a Master of Arts in Journalism and New Media from Leiden University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
