Michael Olorunninwo

Michael Olorunninwo serves as President of GradientFI, focusing on decentralized finance for cross-border commerce since October 2022. As Director at Y-Labs since May 2020, Michael leads social innovation initiatives through design thinking and entrepreneurship. Other roles include Non-Executive Director at Merciport Group and Startup Advisor at Colad Gray, both beginning in October 2020, as well as Investor at Kobo360 from December 2019. Michael also participated in the ODF17 Founders Fellowship at On Deck since April 2023. Previously, Michael held positions such as Partner at Hawksworth Advisors and Head of Technology Strategy and Finance Advisory at cLabs. Early career experience includes roles at Apple as Program Manager for Machine Learning and at Savannah Energy as Lead for Strategic Finance. Michael holds a Master’s degree in General Management from Stanford University, a Master’s in Computer Science from Jessup University, and is a CFA Level 1 candidate.
