The Opportunity

One Medical is focusing on providing amazing primary care for all. The aim of the Virtual Care team is to deliver a great online care experience so our members can seamlessly obtain the care they need, when and where they need it. The team is chartered with our mobile and web online care platforms including video chat, “Treat Me Now” for asynchronous care, and secure messaging.

You will be developing the One Medical Android application with the latest features to engage and delight our members. This platform is mission critical for ensuring our members have access to the highest quality care. You will be working with engineers from multiple disciplines, iOS, ML, Full-Stack Web, Security and Data Science. In addition to interfacing with our partners across the organization in clinical, operations, marketing.

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in android development
  • Experience with Kotlin
  • Experience with REST and/or GraphQL
  • Experience with junit, Espresso, and test mocking frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with partners across the team

Not required, but would be great if you also had:

  • Experience with coroutines, Dagger, and Realm
  • Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities
  • Experience with application performance tuning and gradle build tuning
  • Experience with CI Configuration
  • Prior experience with authentication, session management, and encryption
  • Prior experience with evaluating and integrating with third party tools

This is a full-time remote role based anywhere in the US. The role will ask you to work the hours of 9-5 pm either in the Central Time Zone or the Pacific Time Zone (some flexibility). You have the option of working from our San Francisco headquarters, Austin, TX or New York, but most of your coworkers will be based out of SF.
