Hamed al-Ajmi

Hamed Al-ajmi is currently serving as a One Young World Ambassador since October 2023 and has been with bp since December 2019 in various roles, including Environmental & Social Advisor, HSE&C Performance Advisor, and Site HSE&C Advisor. In these positions, Hamed coordinates sustainable emission reduction projects, monitors GHG performance, and oversees HSE&C reporting and compliance. Previous experience includes a role as a Jr. Technical Analyst at Phaze Ventures, where Hamed evaluated energy and logistics startups, and leading a capstone senior design project at Air-Nu, which developed a profitable filter technology. Educationally equipped with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Louisiana State University, earned in 2019, Hamed has also contributed as a robotics mentor to middle school teams.
