Terry Parkman

Terry Parkman serves as the NextGen Pastor at River Valley Church since September 2014, where responsibilities include leading and developing ministries for Kids, Youth, and Young Adults, as well as overseeing the Leadership Institute. Additionally, Terry holds the position of Global Ambassador for NextGen at OneHope since March 2022, focusing on catalyzing NextGen ministries across North America and Global/Regional Networks to achieve the Vision 2030 objectives. As the NextGen Global Co-Lead for Empowered21 since September 2018, efforts include fostering connectivity among diverse NextGen leaders to promote missional collaboration leading up to 2033. Previously, from February 2008 to August 2014, Terry was the Lead Student Pastor at Evangel Assembly of God, where responsibilities encompassed preaching, leadership development, and organizing student ministries. Terry is currently pursuing a Doctor's Degree in Missions/Missionary Studies and Missiology at Southeastern University, building on a Master's degree in Global Ministry Design from Moody Bible Institute and a Bachelor's degree in Pastoral Ministries & Theology from Central Bible College.
