Ewout Heersink

Ewout has been with Onex since its founding in 1984. He serves on the firm’s Board of Directors and Onex Partners’ Investment Committee. In addition, Ewout has had a wide variety of duties related to Onex’ financial management, having held the position of Chief Financial Officer from 1984 until December 2007.

Prior to 1984, he was with Gerry Schwartz at CanWest Capital and a Chartered Accountant and consultant at KPMG. Ewout serves on the Advisory Board of the Queen’s University Business School and has been a director of a number of Onex subsidiaries since 1984.

Ewout is a CPA, CA. He also holds an M.B.A. from Queen’s University and an Honours Business Administration degree from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
