Sasmita Patnaik is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in gender mainstreaming, technical assistance, and impact evaluation in the fields of energy, water, and food security. Currently serving as a Technical Assistance Facilitator and Gender Advisor for the WE4F S/SEA Hub at Tetra Tech, Sasmita leads initiatives to support innovative business models and strategies for smallholder farmers in South and Southeast Asia, focusing on investment readiness and ESG integration. Prior to this role, Sasmita held the position of Programme Lead at the Council on Energy, Environment and Water, where efforts centered on gender and social inclusion in energy access. Sasmita’s background includes consulting for global organizations, conducting impact assessments, and contributing to research projects. Sasmita holds a Master of Science in Development Studies from SOAS University of London and a Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar.
