Patty Mims

Patty Mims is the Director at Open Geospatial Consortium. Patty has over 25 years of experience in the geospatial industry.

Patty started their career in 1994 as a GIS analyst at Standard Technology, Inc. Patty then moved to Laser-Scan, Inc in 1996, where they became the Technical Manager. In 2002, they joined Esri, where they held various positions before becoming the Director at Open Geospatial Consortium.

Patty Mims has a Bachelor's degree in Geography, Education from the University of Mary Washington and a Master's degree in GIS from Virginia Tech.
