Rico Claus

Rico Claus is an experienced network consultant currently working at Open Line since March 2021. Prior to this role, Rico served as a network engineer at vidaXL from September 2018 to March 2021, where responsibility included managing the global infrastructure for multiple locations and troubleshooting various network protocols within a small team. Rico's earlier positions included support engineer and intern roles, primarily focused on providing technical support and researching vulnerability scanners and virtualization management solutions. Rico holds an HBO degree in ICT - IT Services from Zuyd Hogeschool, alongside degrees in Software Engineering and ICT management from Fontys Venlo and Gilde Opleidingen. Core technologies expertise includes Stormshield and WatchGuard firewalls, as well as Cisco and Dell switches.
